The desire for community is built into us from the day we are born. For many people as we grow our friends become our family. As brothers and sisters in Christ we are meant to uplift, encourage, support, correct, teach and pray for each other. This is an affirmation prayer of positive self confession of God's promises.
Abba, Thank you for guiding me to the right circle of friends, and community where I can be strengthened and be a blessing to those around me. Thank you for always placing me in the right place at the right time so that I may impart to my brother and sisters some spiritual gift to make them strong. We will be mutually encouraged by each other's faith. God you have given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. You wake me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed. I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism. He has different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. I know that I was born to be part of the body of christ in this time and season. God you have has poured out Your Spirit upon me to prophesy, to resurrect, to bless, to see visions, to heal and to dream dreams.
In Jesus name - Amen
